Unplugged?

Technology has become such an ingrained part of my daily life.  I am connected to the online world many hours per day, either via laptop or cellphone. It's just something that is now taken for granted.

I'm not sure what a day would be like without this vice.  I can't recall the last time I didn't have instant access to sports scores, news, and social updates from friends and family.  I think I would find myself pretty anxious throughout the course of the day without having access to any of these tools.  Heck, I even had internet access on my phone when we went to Punta Cana this past summer.  I ended up reading web pages while sunning myself out on the beach.

It would probably be a great exercise to take a week and just unplug.  I wonder what type of vacation that would end up being?  It might be something to try once .
